| Dairy Cows and Lent |
Obviously not all of the secret agent cows on the farm are excited about giving up something for Lent, but I suggested it might at least be a good character building opportunity for each of them. Some are giving up watching their soap operas. Others have chosen to eat the hay The Farmer feeds stems first then the green leafy parts, sorta like Thumper's father might have recommended. I know of at least three that are giving up saying bad words in "Moo" for the entire time. Some of these are tough!
For those of you giving up junk food and soda and trying to curb your bad habits I have a suggestion I'd like to make: try dairy foods! Whether it be milk, yogurt, cheese, or ice cream you'll find that they are not just delicious, but also nutritious!
